As you might know, I’m on tumblr a lot more during finals time than any other time of the year, ever. Anyways, here.
1. Baby, It’s Cold Outside
This one actually used to be one of my favorites. Then I realized that the female part keeps saying “the answer is no” and “what’s in this drink.” This sounds like attempted coercion followed by date rape to me. No means no, and sexual assault does not get me in the Christmas spirit. But maybe I’m over-analyzing this one.
2. Feliz Navidad
To me it’s extremely repetitive, and I realize it’s probably because I don’t speak Spanish, so I don’t fault it as much for that. But I don’t really care for his voice either.
3. Last Christmas
I have no legitimate reason for this one, I just don’t like it, never have.
4. Mary, Did You Know
I hate this one merely for its over-saturation. You would think that there are no other religious Christmas songs ever, the way churches overplay it.
5. Little Drumma Boy by Justin Bieber
No further explanation needed, I hope.
